Race Medals

If you’re a regular on the racing scene, you’ll likely have a pile-up of finisher medals.

Traditional uses for the medals include displaying them on a rack, keeping them stored away as a sort of memory bank or even using them as Christmas ornaments. One runner went as far as making a tote bag from the lanyards, or ribbons, of the medals.

Connie Baird shared a photo to her Facebook profile showing what she had made from the tens of medals she has earned over the years. “Looking for a good use for all those medals you have hanging around? I tried this for mine,” she writes.

There’s just one question that remains: where did the medals themselves go?
