Canadian Race Guide: 26-27 April

The Vancouver Sun Run will be featured this year at the BC Sports Hall of Fame.

The spring race season is now in full swing. This final weekend of April will see a number of major running events take place across the country.

From the 2014 Canadian Race Guide, these are some of the biggest and most popular events taking place in Canada this Saturday and Sunday.

Starting on the west coast, in Kamloops, B.C, Boogie the Bridge features a half marathon, 10K and 5K race and expects some 2,500 participants who will make their way over and across the Overlanders Bridge.

To celebrate it’s 25th anniversary, the Times Colonist 10K (TC10K) has added a half marathon to it’s already popular 10K distance in the heart of Victoria, B.C. Over 10,000 runners and walkers are expected to participate and complete the scenic and often Oceanside courses.
