Eric Gillis is set to make his return to racing following his withdrawal from last month’s Boston Marathon.

The 10th place finisher at the Olympics in the men’s marathon has put the setbacks behind him and will look to retain his Canadian 10K road championship from 2015 come Saturday evening. The 37-year-old is the favourite among Canadians at the 2017 Ottawa 10K, which doubles as the national road championships over the distance.
