Watch: More road races need finish line moments like this
The winner at the finish line of this event livened things up by busting a few moves right after his win.
Stephane Charles still had a bit of energy left after crossing the finish line in first during the 5K at the Marathon des Érables in Mont-Saint-Grégoire, Que. In the finishing chute, Charles leaped up into the air and proceeded to show off just a little by busting a few dance moves after his run.

The Montreal resident won the southern Quebec race in 19:02 and Pamela-Ann Bachelder St-Pierre, who is also seen in the above video, followed closely in 19:17. The 5K event, part of the Marathon des Érables, featured 639 participants on April 30.
Charles made up for the lack of a finishing tape with his dance moves. He was busy this past April having raced three out of the five weekends (all 5K races) according to race timing company Sportstats.

The Marathon des Érables had a distance for every runner on the weekend. The event offered a 1K, 5K, 10K, 15K, half-marathon, 30K and marathon.

Fortunately, ZoomPhoto.ca, a race photography company based out of Ottawa, was at the finish line and captured the moment.
For most folks finishing a road race, a leap in the air wouldn’t end as well as it did for Charles. The lactic acid buildup didn’t phase the athletes aged 40-plus at Saturday’s event.
The 10K was the most popular event in Mont-Saint-Grégoire as 913 runners and walkers having participated.
