The Vancouver Marathon is one of Canada’s incredibly popular events. Runner and spectators alike really bring the spirit to the streets of Vancouver. Yesterday’s marathon was a great time for everyone and Canadians really brought their game. Rob Watson was the star of the morning’s half-marathon. In the full, Canadians placed third in both the men’s and women’s races. Kip Kangogo ran a 2:19:21 marathon. The top Canadian women was Ellie Greenwood who ran a 2:47:23. The champions of yesterday’s marathon were Luka Chelimo and Lioudmila Kortchaguina.
