The shirts for this year’s Scotiabank Toronto Waterfront Marathon were unveiled yesterday. Designed by Richard Kuchinsky for New Balance, the shirts are made of New Balance’s NB Dry material and feature the name TORONTO incorporated into a striking dot-patterned graphic.

The dot pattern is meant to represent the many people that marathons bring together, as well as the many facets of the city and the different elements that come together when the city hosts the marathon. The final two letters of the city’s name are in a contrasting design, in homage to Toronto’s popular nickname.
Love all the thought put behind this design, the concept of being one dot in thousands of runners, the progression of the solid dots for distance, can’t wait to get mine! https://t.co/eDJUV7wKsf
