More than 1,000 Canadians were part of the 47,793 runners who toed the line at the NYC Marathon on Sunday morning, running in summery conditions through the five boroughs of New York. Canadians won several age categories, with Quebec’s Pierre Boulay leading the men’s 55–59 age category, Linda Eng of Ontario winning the women’s 60–64 category, and B.C.’s Diane Leonard taking first among the 75–79 women. While a non-binary category with prizes was offered at the 2022 NYC Marathon, no Canadians were entered.  Here are the top Canadian results and age category winners.
