Any time Usain Bolt races, the world takes notice.

The eight-time Olympic champion contested the 100m at the IAAF World Challenge in Ostrava, Czech Republic on Wednesday during his summer farewell tour. The world record holder in the 100m, 200m and 4x100m relay ran 10.06 in a relatively low-key field.

“I’m not happy with the time, but I’m just getting into my running,” Bolt said. NBC Sports reports that his 10.06 is the “slowest time in a 100m final this late into a season.”

The 30-year-old, who owns a lifetime best over 100m of 9.58, won by 0.03 seconds over Yunier Perez. The event is officially known as the 56th Ostrava Golden Spike. During the event, one of Bolt’s meet records was taken down. South Africa’s Wayde Van Niekerk set a new world best for 300m running 30.81. He’s the only person in history to have run sub-10 in the 100m, sub-20 in the 200, sub-31 in the 300m and sub-44 in the 400m.

Big names like Andre De Grasse, Yohan Blake, Justin Gatlin, Akani Simbine and Christian Coleman were absent. De Grasse competes Wednesday night at the Harry Jerome International Track Classic in Metro Vancouver.

Bolt is expected to retire after the 2017 IAAF World Championships in London. The 100m final is scheduled for Aug. 5. However, he did raise questions about his looming retirement saying after the race that “we haven’t fully made up our mind on what we’re doing yet.”
