The women’s elite field will include defending champion Sarah Inglis, as well as Leslie Sexton, Natasha Wodak, Dayna Pidhoresky, and Kat Drew. Sexton will no doubt be trying to regain her 2016 title as she prepares to race the Scotiabank Toronto Waterfront Marathon next month.
Inglis, who is from Scotland, came to Vancouver to study at Trinity Western University.

The men’s field includes 2017 champion Geoff Martinson, Lucas Bruchet, Tristan Woodfine, Trevor Hofbauer, Dylan Wykes, Rob Watson, Thomas Toth, and Evan Dunfee. Martinson won this race in 2015 also.
Martinson finished second to American Brendan Gregg at the Vancouver Sun Run in April.
The race, which is capped at 2,600 participants, starts at Woodward’s Development at the corner of Abbott and Cordova streets in Gastown. You can sign up here, and fans can follow the race on the CRS West’s Instagram account, here.
