A small lake formed at the Gunner Shaw Memorial Cross-Country race on Saturday at Jericho Beach in Vancouver. A decent amount of water is expected at the race, with organizers advertising that this is a proper cross-country course. “Depending on weather conditions you can expect varying amounts of mud and water (but always some!). Shoes with good mud traction are recommended.”
