Lululemon to launch interactive home gym – lululemon Mirror

Mirror will be available for purchase in-store and online beginning on Nov. 22

Lululemon Athletica announced today that they will be launching a new, nearly invisible, interactive home gym system called Mirror. This product will be offered in nearly 40 lululemon stores across Canada and available for purchase in-store and online beginning on Nov. 22.

Canadians who purchase Mirror will gain access to the digital community, experiencing the platform’s best-in-class content for all fitness levels. The goal is to propel lululemon’s vision, strengthening its community connection through online fitness. How does Mirror work? Mirror is powered by advanced camera technology and a personal performance dashboard, which are both synced by Bluetooth to measure heart rate and effort levels.

On Mirror, you can choose the music you listen to while you workout. Mirror users can choose to complete individual classes, group classes or compete against friends. During competition, points are awarded when certain target heart rate zones are maintained.

Mirror will offer live classes daily led by experienced lululemon ambassadors. There will also be thousands of on-demand workouts available online for users, which include: boxing, barre, cardio, strength, yoga, meditation classes. Certified trainers are there provide expert instruction to users, along with motivation and live feedback during classes. Each class on Mirror can range from five minutes to one hour and are for all fitness levels.
