Resistance band exercises fit for a world champion

Emma Coburn crushes the Instagram game. The 2017 steeplechase world champion is never shy about showing her followers insights into her life, her training and her strength programme. She’s even started selling mini resistance bands so that runners can get mobile and strength train like a world champion.

Mini bands are particularly useful for warming up and mobilizing pre-workout. They add a small amount of difficulty to basic movements to help the muscles activate and strengthen. If you’re looking to switch up your routine, consider giving some of these exercises a try before or after your run.
