Happy Workout Wednesday, everyone. Here’s a glimpse into one of University of Toronto Track Club’s harder workouts. Katherine Lampard, Elizabeth Whelan, Lucia Stafford and Madeleine Kelly are running today’s session together, as they all get ready for an upcoming series of races in California.

The workout
The women are doing 4x1K, averaging 3:04 per kilometre and then moving on to 4x200m with 30 seconds rest, and 4x200m with two minutes rest at 800m race pace or faster. That’s a total of 5,600m of work with a 15-minute warmup and cooldown.
