Elisha Cuthbert and Dion Phaneuf launch Virtual 5K in support of Special Olympics

This week would have marked the start of the Tokyo Summer Olympics. Unfortunately, the Games have been postponed until next year. But this isn’t the only type of Olympics affected by COVID-19. For decades the Special Olympics has been enriching the lives of Canadians with intellectual disabilities through sport. This year the pandemic has had an impact not only on their programming, but also on crucial fundraising initiatives.
