Lucia Stafford almost accidentally ran a Canadian record after leaving the Bowerman Track Club
Lucia Stafford won the elite 5K women’s race at the Road2Hope Marathon weekend in Hamilton, ON, last weekend. Her time of 15:20 in her debut at the distance was only 4 seconds off the Canadian record set in 2004 by Emilie Mondor.
