Marco Arop is arguably one of the most accomplished mid-distance runners in Canadian history. He’s only 22 years old but he’s already achieved more than most track athletes can dream of in a career.
Marco is a Pan Am Games gold medalist, a world championship finalist, and was an NCAA standout at Mississippi State before going pro in 2019. Since then, he’s become a 5-time Diamond League podium finisher and competed in this summer’s Tokyo Olympics, placing 7th in his semi-final. But Marco hasn’t been without his share of challenges, both on and off the track. In this episode he tells us how he keeps fun at the forefront of everything he does.
