In July Zahra Nafar of Ottawa started an online group called Running Women Global Community. The goal was to create an inclusive space for women runners to connect during COVID-19. A couple of months later, when Ruth Bader Ginsburg died, the group decided to launch their first virtual run in honour of the trailblazing Supreme Court Justice.
In this episode we speak with Nafar about the evolution of this online community, the legacy of the notorious RBG, and about running for mental health during the pandemic.
