Spectators of the SeaWheeze Half-Marathon were out in full force with creative signs in Vancouver on Saturday. The high-energy, sold-out event had the Vancouver Police Department and Vancouver Fire Department on hand helping out with cheering, both in terms of signage and hosing down runners on a hot morning of running.
The 10 best include: “calendar firefighters at the finish line,” “high speed chases encouraged,” “is that rain or sweat?” “float like a butterfly, run like a cheetah,” “you made it this far on only two legs?” “need a cool off? Because you’re on fire,” “run now, beer later,” “do you know how fast you’re going?” “fire exit in 21.1K” and “we bless the rains…in Vancouver.”
See a photo roundup of the signs spotted on course.
