In three short years, Saturday’s Toronto Waterfront 10K has become one of the most exciting events of the summer in Toronto, and this year’s edition will feature some of the top names in Canada’s running scene. Two-time Olympian Reid Coolsaet, third-place Boston finisher Krista DuChene, and Canadian 10,000m record-holder Natasha Wodak are just a sampling of the top-tier elite names racing on Saturday.

The race starts on University Avenue just north of Queen Street at 7:25 a.m. Eastern time with the hand-cycle division, followed by 45 elite men and women and six waves of runners.

Saturday’s forecast looks warm but overcast, with a chance of showers and a high of 27 C. Should be perfect for running at 7:30 a.m.
