Among the tens of thousands of runners who make the New York City Marathon the largest in the world will be some notable names outside of the athletics community. American actor and comedian Kevin Hart, who says he’s inspired by Eliud Kipchoge’s 2:00:25 marathon in May, is one of the many notables in the field.
The point-to-point New York City Marathon, put on by the New York Road Runners, takes place Nov. 5. The final of the calendar year’s World Marathon Majors featured more than 51,350 finishers in 2016.
