Children design shoes for Saucony to raise money for charity

The limited-edition collections were designed by patients in children's hospitals across Canada and the U.S., including Toronto's SickKids Hospital

Saucony is partnering with four children’s hospitals across Canada and the United States, enlisting the help of young patients to design limited-edition shoe and apparel collections and raise money for the children’s hospitals or their designated charity. Toronto’s SickKids Hospital, along with Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta, Boston’s Children’s Hospital and the Children’s Hospital of New Orleans are participants in the initiative.

The campaign will feature four footwear collections, one from each hospital, including both performance and lifestyle sneakers, as well as apparel. The Canada edition will launch on Sept. 5, and shoes will range in price from $85 to $200, with apparel ranging from $25 to $75. Twenty per cent from every sale in these collections will be donated back to the children’s hospitals or their designated charity. Check out the video below to meet some of the designers:
