Dina Asher-Smith makes Sports Illustrated’s Fashionable 50
The reigning 100m and 200m European champion loves fashion and has been featured on numerous magazine covers

The British sprinter and Olympian Dina Asher-Smith is the only runner featured in this year’s Sports Illustrated Fashionable 50.

Asher-Smith, who is the reigning European champion in the 100m and 200m, is one of only nine women featured in the magazine’s annual look at the most sartorially gifted athletes. (There are 19 NBA players in the feature, including the Toronto Raptors’Â Serge Ibaka in a kilt.)

Asher-Smith appears in the “Rising Stars” section in a green and white striped silk two-piece outfit with bright orange pumps. Asher-Smith is known to love fashion and has been featured on many magazine covers. The magazine says she appeared on the runway in American designer Virgil Abloh’s Off-White fashion show in Paris, which drew inspiration from the world of track and field.
