Canadian Running magazine is hiring a podcast producer. This is a part-time or full-time position (depending on the candidate).

Duties include research, developing content and working with the hosts in preparation for each weekly episode. The producer will also plan, schedule and vet potential guests, record and edit the show and post it on the various podcast channels we use. In addition, the podcast producer will oversee the show’s webpage and standalone social media channels. Hours are flexible, but the role will require coming into the office in downtown Toronto, particularly on Fridays, when the show is released on a weekly basis.

The ideal candidate will have a background and/or an education in podcast or radio journalism, a technical understanding of audio recording and editing, experience with WordPress and social media strategies, and a strong interest and understanding of running as a lifestyle and sport.

Qualified applicants should submit a resume, cover letter and any relevant samples of past work to David Smart at dave@gripped.com.
