Canadian track star Justyn Knight has signed with the newly formed Reebok Boston Track Club.

Knight graduated this year from the University of Syracuse, and fans waited patiently to see where he would start his professional career.

The Reebok Track Club is brand new to the elite running club scene. The team will be coached by former University of Syracuse coach Chris Fox, and Knight is their star athlete.

Knight and Fox have had enormous success together. In the past year alone, Knight won the 2017 NCAA Cross-Country Championships, 2018 5,000m NCAA indoor title, and was ninth at the 2017 World Championships 5,000m.

The team will be based out of Charlottesville, Virginia and will use the University of Virginia track for their workouts.

Reebok is planning to add more athletes as the season goes on. The group looks to include eight to 10 athletes, running anywhere from the 1,500m to marathon distance.

Knight and Fox seem to have a great athlete-coach relationship, and it will be exciting to see what the duo can do together as Knight transitions from a collegiate athlete to a professional runner. The runner said this morning on Instagram, “I’ve never been the type to ride the wave, I like to create it. Proud and excited to announce my new sponsorship!”
