"Suffice it to say I'm going to be sore tomorrow," says the model, commenting on day one of her marathon training.

American fashion model Karlie Kloss says she’s training for a marathon, which would be her first.

The 24-year-old is recognized for her work with L’Oreal Paris, Vogue, Calvin Klein and Victoria’s Secret, among other brands and companies. She also appeared in Taylor Swift’s music video for “Bad Blood” off the album 1989. Kloss made the marathon announcement on social media on Thursday

“So this morning was day one of marathon training,” Kloss wrote on Instagram to her 6.6 million followers along with a photo of her at the base of the Williamsburg Bridge, which connects with Manhattan. “Suffice it to say I’m going to be sore tomorrow.”

Meanwhile, on Twitter, Kloss tagged the same photo simply with the runner emoji. Currently, Kloss is working with Adidas and has recently started a YouTube channel where she may document how training is progressing.

Kloss hasn’t announced which marathon she will be doing. As a rough estimate, 16 weeks from now, a common time frame for a marathon buildup, lands approximately at the beginning of September. The Chicago Marathon, in Kloss’ hometown, is at the beginning of October. See here for a sample of Canadian Running‘s marathon training plans.

In 2015, Kloss ran the Paris Half-Marathon in 2:18:24. Last year, she again ran Paris, that time in 2:24:04. (For those wondering, the Paris Marathon, the city’s most popular 42K, occurs annually in April.)

The New York City resident hasn’t always been a runner. In March 2015, she posted a photo to Instagram saying, “I’ve never been much of a runner, actually that’s putting it mildly. I detest running! (You might think having long legs would make it easier, but I think it does just the opposite.) However, I’ve always wanted to overcome this fear of running long distances and this year I have been challenging myself to run more and more often.”
