He said, “You’re boy is on cloud nine. Why? Marathon number two complete, man.” Hart was running to raise money and awareness for educational philanthropy. Hart’s first marathon was the 2017 New York City Marathon where he finished in just over four hours.

Post-race, Hart summed up why the marathon is so difficult, and what it feels like to hit a wall while running. “Ran 21 miles straight, broke down at mile 22, felt like somebody was on the roof with a little thing called a cramp gun.” Hart describes being shot in the legs with this cramp gun.

Hart reportedly received a hug from winner Mo Farah post-race. Farah won in a 2:05:11, which is also a new European marathon record. Sunday was only Farah’s third marathon.
