Alright, alright, alright, Matthew McConaughey seems to have landed himself another role where he can take his shirt off.

The actor has been selected to star in an upcoming movie adaptation of Born to Run, the 2009 bestselling book that in large part kicked off a boom in barefoot running. The movie is at this point untitled. It is reported the actor will play a leading role.

The book was written by Chris McDougall, a journalist who travelled to the Copper Canyons in Mexico to learn about the Tarahumara tribe that lives there. The tribe is known for being able to run exceptionally long distances, barefoot, without the problems of injuries that most runners suffer from.

McDougall’s book spent  178 weeks on New York Times best seller list. McConaughey recently won an Oscar for his role in Dallas Buyer Club but has been taking roles different from what he is known for.
