How this mother-toddler duo just became social media’s most adorable workout buddies

Workouts just don't get any cuter than these two...

Danielle Jones and her two-year-old daughter, Honor, have just become social media’s cutest fitness partners. And for good reason.

Jones is a personal trainer and well-known on Instagram for her workout videos. (She can be found on Instagram as MsBoston.)

When she had her daughter two-years ago, the changes her body went through with pregnancy and labour, understandably, put a bit of a damper on her previously impeccable workout regime. While fitting into her new role as a mother, Jones also worked to lose the 54 pounds she gained during her pregnancy.

As someone who has always prioritized health and fitness though, Jones made a solid effort to get back in shape after giving birth. As a new mom, she would do at-home full-body workouts while her baby slept or played.

Getting back in shape however took an unexpected twist for the fit mom when one day around her first birthday, baby Honor started copying her mom’s moves. When Jones realized that her little one was mimicking her, she started to involve her in her at-home strength sessions doing standard exercises like planks, push-ups, burpees, etc. She even started using her mini workout partner as a weight for some of the moves. (See her Instagram videos below.)

The workouts became playtime or a sort of mother-daughter bonding moment. Jones allows her little mini workout buddy to join in. As seen in her quick videos below, her two-year-old certainly has some interesting spins on the classic moves. Oftentimes, Honor joins in just to jump and dance while mom is working up a sweat. To add difficulty, Honor makes sure to climb all over her mom– just, you know, for the added weight.

As quoted in an interview with Cosmopolitan magazine, Jones says that sometimes Honor will add toys to their sessions or have the dolls do each challenge first. If Jones decides to have a rest day or skip the workout though, her toddler often calls her out and reminds her to get to it.

The workouts basically just do not get any cuter than that…
