Former NFL player Colin Kaepernick released a teaser of his 30th anniversary Nike “Just Do It” campaign on Monday evening. Kaepernick generated controversy when, starting in 2016, he knelt during the national anthem to protest racial injustice and police brutality.

Nike shares took a huge dip on on Tuesday when the ad was announced, $2.60-per-share to be exact. Former Nike consumers started burning their product, and hashtag #boycottnike went viral. Even the President of the United States weighed in on the ad on Friday morning. He shared on Twitter, “What was Nike thinking?”

Trump’s tweet is likely in response to the television ad, titled “Dream Crazy”, that ran on Thursday night during the Atlanta Falcons and Philadelphia Eagles season opener. “Dream Crazy” has accumulated over 12 million views on YouTube alone in the past two days and stars Kaepernick.

The New York Post reports that Trumps told Fox News before a rally in Montana that, “I don’t like what Nike did. I don’t think it’s appropriate what they did.”

Despite the controversy, Nike shares are on the rise. Since Wednesday, Nike shares have added $1.53 per share.

Business Insider reports that millennials are primarily responsible for the climb in Nike shares, “It’s clear that Nike has decided to double down on this under-35 demographic as it seeks to reinvent itself.”
