Social media reactions to Justyn Knight’s NCAA cross-country win

Twitter reactions to Canadian Justyn Knight's championship-winning performance at NCAAs on Saturday in Kentucky

Justyn Knight

From 143rd overall in 2014 to first in 2017, Justyn Knight improved his result every year at the NCAA Division One Cross-Country Championships to win his first-career individual title on Saturday.

The Syracuse senior kicked hard in the final 500m of the men’s 10K in Louisville, Ky. at the American university championships to win over a pair of Northern Arizona athletes. Knight’s victory was the first in Syracuse cross-country program history and the first win by a Canadian at the NCAA Cross-Country Championships since Sheila Reid in 2010 and 2011.
