The fastest woman in the world will be appearing at the 2018 New York Fashion Week.
American sprinter Tori Bowie, the gold medallist over 100m at the 2017 IAAF World Championships, will appear at a number of shows during NYFW and, according to Elle magazine, may appear on the catwalk too.
In late 2017, Bowie appeared in a campaign for Valentino and previously modeled for Adidas, her athletics sponsor. Bowie became the fastest woman alive by winning the world 100m final in London clocking 10.85 seconds. (The race ended in dramatic fashion.) The 27-year-old is a three-time Olympic medallist and added a second gold in London in the women’s 4x100m.

Bowie has a lifetime 100m best of 10.78.
