Usain Bolt is about to become a father

The world's fastest man and his partner, Kasi Bennett, are about to have their first child

Usain Bolt

The fastest man in the world is about to become a father, for real. In 2017 we reported that triple Olympic gold medallist Usain Bolt and his partner, Kasi Bennett, were considering becoming parents, and almost three years later, it is happening. Both partners posted photos of a regal-looking Bennett and her bump on Instagram today, and Bolt confirmed the happy news in an interview with Britain’s Daily Mail.

“I just want to say a KING or QUEEN is about to be HERE,” Bolt, 33, posted. He and Bennett, 30, have been together for five years.

Bolt holds the world record in the 100m, 200m and 4x100m relay.

According to her Instagram account, Bennett is the managing director of Elevate Marketing House Limited of Kingston, Jamaica, and founder of Project Kase, a non-profit dedicated to children in Jamaica.

Bolt was in Tokyo recently to take part in the unveiling of the new National Stadium, which will be the main venue for the Tokyo 2020 Olympics.
