Registration for the 2018 Squamish 50 went live on Friday. And, if you’re reading this without having entered the race, you’ll have to wait until 2019.

The popular B.C. trail race sold out in record time on Nov. 24. The 50K sold out in 44 minutes followed closely by the 23K in 2.5 hours, the 50/50 (50K and 50-miler) in 3.5 hours and the 50-miler in nine hours.

This year is the fastest the race has ever sold out with 1,250 runners in the field, according to race director Gary Robbins. (Geoff Langford directs the race too.)

The Squamish 50, held in Squamish B.C. between Whistler and Vancouver, is scheduled for Aug. 18-19.
