Many trail runners cherish their alone time in the forest. But once in a while, introverts unite at their local trail running club. These groups can be the gateway to new running routes and new friends. The only thing better than beautiful trails are likeminded people to share them with. Halifax Trail Runners meet every Wednesday night at the shop on Quinpool Road. They meet in different locations on the weekends, which is listed on their website.

Tuckamore Trail Runners in the Corner Brook area. They meet weekly and encourage runners of all abilities and ages. You can find them exploring the many trail on the west coast of Newfoundland.

Le Coureur Nordique meets Mondays at 5:30 p.m. at Boutique Nordic Runner.
Montreal Trail Club is the only trail running club in the city. They offer a group run for all abilities–”enthusiastic,” “confirmed,” or “hard.” Distances range between 10K and 13K. Join the fun every Tuesday at 6pm EST.

The Salomon Store in North York has group trail runs from the store every Wednesday evening at 6:30 p.m. The group usually runs 10K depending on the weather and the group. Each month there is a Salomon prize draw. Just show up, as RSVP is not required.
The Burly Trail Runners have a tempo style run every Tuesday and social style run every Thursday. On Saturdays they join the MEC meetup trail group in various locations in Hamilton and Burlington.
