Trail running retreats are popping up everywhere these days, and it’s no surprise. They are opportunities to connect with like-minded humans, learn new skills, run fun trails, and eat delicious food. Canada is catching on to this trend, and we recommend these trail running retreats this spring, summer, and fall:

Women’s Trail Running Retreat

When: October 18-20, 2019
Where: Blue Mountain, Ont.
Who: Athlete, coach, author, and elite trail runner Jennifer Faraone. (Faraone previously hosted a spring trail running clinic for men and women. Due to a concussion, she will be hosting just the women’s clinic in the fall.)
What: “Surrounded by the beautiful autumn leaves, this is a wonderful time of the year to explore the scenic trails of Blue Mountain, while connecting with other women who share a passion for trail running. Over the course of the weekend, you will have the opportunity to explore different trails, engage in discussions and receive expert advice relating to run form and technique, training considerations, injury prevention, and more. But this retreat is not all about physical activity; it’s also about taking some time out for yourself, to focus on you and to recharge your batteries. You will leave on Sunday feeling more knowledgeable, confident, renewed and inspired! This retreat is open to anyone who embraces the magic of the trails. It doesn’t matter how often you run, how fast you can run, or how long you have been running; the trails don’t discriminate! All runs can be tailored to meet you where you are at.” Learn more here.
