WATCH: Squamish’s trail culture
Squamish Off Road Cycling Association presents The trails we call home by Cameron Sylvester, showcasing Canada's adventure capital and its multi-use trail network
Squamish (Sḵwx̱wú7mesh), B.C. is known as the adventure capital of Canada, and home to over 200K of exceptional trails and wildlife. Thanks to the Squamish Off Road Cycling Association (SORCA), trail runners, hikers, mountain bikers, and puppies have unrestricted access to this privilege. As the town of Squamish continues to grow, so does advocacy for trails and green space. The town is situated within the territory of the Squamish First Nation, and collaboration between all interested parties is necessary to protect its beautiful backyard. SORCA’s The trails we call home, created by Cameron Sylvester, features Canadian trail runners Tara Holland and Brendan Hunt sharing their home trails with the Squamish community.
