VIDEO: Connor Black solidifies national contender status with OUA XC win

After his first 10K of the season, Black chats how racing the 8K versus the 10K is like and his chances at nationals

Guelph’s Connor Black solidified his status as a contender for the national (U Sports) university cross-country title with a win at the Ontario conference championships on Saturday. Black won the OUA men’s 10K in 30:32 over McMaster’s Sergio Raez Villanueva and Max Turek in a 2-3 finish for the Marauders. Guelph won the men’s team title led by Black’s individual win and Josh Kellier and Andrew Shepherd in sixth and 10th, respectively.
