Double Olympic Gold medallist Donovan Bailey said he was given the cold shoulder by organizers of the 2010 torch relay. Journalists, celebrities, politicians, and many of Canada’s top athletes, past and present, were handed the opportunity to run with the Olympic torch, but Bailey said he was never asked. Neither was skier Kerrin Lee-Gartner, who won a gold medal for Canada in the women’s downhill at the 1992 Games in Albertville.
