BMO Vancouver Marathon registration opens

One of Canada’s most popular races, the BMO Vancouver Marathon, has opened registration for the 2015 race. The event is the only marathon in B.C.’s most populous city and is among the largest running events in the country, with 18,000 expected runners in 2015.

The event in the upcoming year will cap the marathon at 5,000 participants, 10,000 in the half-marathon, 2,500 in the 8K and there will also be a kids run.

Those hoping to run should consider registering early. Last year all the races were sold out over a month in advance and, if you’re already sure you would like to race, early-bird pricing is in effect through October and November, meaning you can save money signing up now for the May 2-3 races.
