Canada D’Eh 5K finishers get patriotic medal

What’s better than a finisher’s medal? How about a medal with Canada’s first Prime Minister on it?

The Canada D’Eh 5K run in Amherstberg, Ont., is offering finishers a unique medal featuring the likeness of Sir John A. Macdonald. Participants in this year’s race can also vote for the Canadian to be featured on next year’s medal—and it can be anyone from Commander Chris Hadfield to Wayne Gretzky or Sarah McLachlan.
