The Ontario University Athletics (OUA) Cross-Country Championships are Oct. 28.

Canadian Running will provide updates and coverage from the conference championships, which lead into the national (U Sports) university cross-country championships in mid-November. OUAs are being held in Windsor, Ont. at Malden Park.

The main storyline of the race will be the return of Sasha Gollish, who will be using up her fifth and final year of eligibility. Gollish, who was the CIS (now U Sports) Rookie of the Year in 2000 has on and off competed for the Toronto Varsity Blues over the past 17 years. She’s a Pan Am Games medallist over 1,500m, the 2016 Canadian Cross-Country Championships gold medallist and was a member of Team Canada at the 2017 IAAF World Cross-Country Championships.
