Ida Keeling, 100, still had plenty of energy left after her 100m race in which set she a world record at the Penn Relays in Philadelphia on Saturday.

The centenarian and lifelong New York City resident ran 1:17.33 at Franklin Field on April 29 at the nation’s oldest and largest track and field competition and proceeded to do pushups after her race. Fortunately, there’s plenty of video and photos from the race.

One pushup was not nearly enough for Keeling either. See the below video for proof (pushups near the 25-second mark):

According to NBC Sports, there is no data on the U.S. track and field governing body’s website for athletes 100 years of age and older meaning her time on Saturday established a new best. She turns 101 on May 15.

Keeling competed in the mixed masters 100m, which included 99-year-old Champ Goldy Sr., as athletes 80-plus ran the marquee sprint event. The 100-year-old began running when she was 67 and continues to set records.

“Love yourself, do what you have to do and what you want to do,” says Keeling. “Eat for nutrition, not for taste. And exercise at least once a day.”

Ed Cox, 88, won the event in a blistering 17.85.

Keeling and Goldy Sr., who ran 45.70 in the race, are pictured below in lanes three and four. The track and field competition is hosted annually at the University of Pennsylvania, commonly known as Penn.

Keeling seemed to be a crowd favourite following her afternoon performance and even earned a hug from Olympian Sanya Richards-Ross, one of the best 400m runners of all time. Keeling also got a photo with Aaron Ross, the husband of Sanya, who plays in the National Football League (NFL).
