It ain’t easy being green

A Brazilian man paints himself green to look like the Incredible Hulk for a running race, then can't get the paint off.

A Brazilian man who decided to run a local race in costume perhaps should have stuck with renting that teddy bear outfit after all.

Instead, Enrique dos Santos opted for what initially may have seemed like an easy running get-up by simply painting himself green in order to imitate the Incredible Hulk. But when dos Santos attempted to remove the paint from his body, he discovered that his skin was deeply stained. The 35 year old pool attendant then spent hours in the shower to no avail, and somehow his horrible gaff found it’s way online, pictures and all.

According to the good folks at The Sun (UK), dos Santos discovered that he had in fact used a grade of green paint that was reserved for ballistic missiles and nuclear submarines. Probably not the greatest idea to paint oneself with something labelled ‘military grade’ on the can.

Apparently, dos Santos was freed of his running costume only after a group of friends scrubbed his body relentlessly for a 24 hour period. After many a luffa destroyed, dos Santos was transformed from the mighty hulk to back to lowly Bruce Banner status.
