“I believe next year he’ll be running (the 100 metres) in 12 seconds,” Ted Neptune, Ayorinde’s coach at the Oakville Legion Track & Field Club, told the paper. Neptune who refers to the boy as the ‘young Bolt.’

Neptune also says the competition in Hershey is tough – he’s never had an athlete win a medal at the Hershey finals during the time he’s been coaching at Oakville Legion.

“I thought I would be in the top three. I didn’t know I would win,” Ayorinde told the paper. “I was really nervous, so I got a lot of adrenaline.”
