Ottawa Race Weekend’s half-marathon a sell-out six months in advance

If you are thinking about running the half-marathon at Ottawa Race Weekend, you may want to consider either the 10K or the marathon. The 21.1K is now completely sold out.

On Thursday, the organizers announced on Twitter that all 12.500 spots are now filled. Last year’s half-marathon took until Jan. 9 to sell out.

Ottawa Race Weekend is Canada’s largest running event. Last year, over 40,000 participated in the 10K, half-marathon and marathon. The marathon and 10K currently sit at about 50 per cent capacity. Last year, the half-marathon drew roughly 10,000 runners.
