Philadelphia Marathon registration now open

For Canadians who are looking for a fall goal race, the Philadelphia Marathon registration is now open. The race weekend will be happening on Nov. 18 – 20 this year.

The Philadelphia Marathon is a prominent race and actually quite a popular one among Canadians. The past couple editions of the race saw some knockout performances by Canadian runners.

When planning the race schedule, many are looking for a race in a city that will also appeal to tourists. Tourism and running often go hand-in-hand and it should be noted that the Philadelphia Marathon has been ranked top ten for overall U.S. races.

The course takes runners through the city’s prominent neighbourhoods including the historic district. Runners will also appreciate the scenic views that the course has to offer. And for those who like a lively atmosphere with crowds of runners, this is a fun one to be at– over 30,000 runners come out to race during the weekend.
