Tennis star and the Sports Illustrated Sportsperson of the Year, Serena Williams, was spotted taking a taxi to the finish line at her own 5K charity run on the weekend.

The top-ranked female tennis player in the world made it to the halfway point of the Live Ultimate Run in Miami before taking a cab to the finish line. The second annual race raised money for the Serena Williams Fund.

Venus Williams, Serena’s sister and also a well-accomplished tennis player with four Olympic gold medals, completed the 5K run in 31:47, which took place along Ocean Drive.

“I didn’t run the whole way this year, but next year I will,” Serena said in the video she posted to Facebook.

Serena is the reigning champion of the Australian Open, Wimbledon, French Open, and was the third-highest-paid female athlete in sports in 2015 as of December.

Canadian 10,000m record holder Cam Levins was invited to the race as part of the Nike Oregon Project last year and currently holds the course record in the “quarter marathon” (6.55 miles, 10.54 kilometres).

Levins won the race by five minutes in 2014 running the inaugural edition in 30:46.18.
