Usain Bolt doesn’t think anyone can beat him and he wants to race a cheetah.

“A cheetah would be cool to compete with,” said the sprinter to local media. “[I] can see the headline ‘Usain Bolt beats cheetah’.”

The world’s 100m and 200m world record-holder is in Bangalore, India, for his first time this week to play a promotional cricket match with Yuvraj Singh, one of the country’s top all-rounders. The Jamaican sprint star is himself a huge cricket fan. In the small island country of three-million, cricket is one of the few interests that garners more attention than their standout sprinters. Cricket is also the most popular sport in India.

The 28-year-old wasn’t completely outclassed on the cricket pitch. His team won the seven-a-side cricket match in front of over 6,000 fans. The match was an exhibition and was intended for entertainment, though he was a rising cricket star when younger, before his father convinced him to focus on sprinting.

Before the match, the witty Jamaican took some time to joke with local media.

“It’s all about focus and mental capacity.” Bolt said in a media conference when asked who could beat him. “It’s hard to pick any one person, but my coach thinks Justin Gatlin is good. Tyson Gay, Yohan Blake, so many guys are coming up. But I am not going to let anybody beat me.”

Bolt, a six-time Olympic gold medallist, cut his 2014 season short after only a handful of races. He didn’t race until early-August because of injury setbacks.
