It’s going to be a stormy weekend in many areas of Canada. Runners will have to plan runs around tough weather patches.

At last Atlantic Canada is seeing nicer weather. Runners there will enjoy above average temperatures for this time of year. They will see light showers Sunday. Newfoundland is also warmer than usual for mid-May. Runners there will enjoy this weekend. It’s supposed to be mostly dry in the province.

Southwestern Ontario is where the storms could possibly hit. That goes for parts of Quebec near Montreal as well. By Sunday, the region should be clear meaning runners can properly enjoy long runs on the long weekend.

Southern Manitoba will see heavy thunderstorms this evening. As for the neighbouring Prairie provinces, Saskatchewan will also get heavy rain. Alberta will be dry but chillier than usual.
