The Olympic medallist in the 100m, 200m and 4x100m plays it cool in his latest commercial
If it hasn’t hit your television screen already, Andre De Grasse’s Gatorade commercial could be coming your way soon.
The commercial, featuring the three-time Olympic medallist and Canadian record holder over 200m, highlights new Gatorade Frost. The product is a sports drink aimed at replacing electrolytes lost through sweat and is often found at road races.
“This is it, one chance against the best in the world, and that’s cool with me,” De Grasse says during the commercial. Sporting Puma apparel and spikes, De Grasse blasts out of the starting blocks during the 15-second segment.

On Monday, the commercial notably aired during the Cleveland Cavaliers and Golden State Warriors NBA game. In addition to Gatorade and Puma, the 22-year-old Markham, Ont. native has worked with Pizza Pizza, PwC and Gillette among other brands.

Watch for De Grasse at the Canadian Track and Field Championships in early July.
